National Veterinary Technician Week in USA

National Veterinary Technician Week in USA is held on October 18. Sponsored by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America. This event in the second decade of the month October is annual.
We have a (not-so) secret weapon in the veterinary profession: the registered veterinary technologist or technician (RVT). These highly educated medical professionals who work one-on-one with your pets every day are vital to a compassionate and well-run hospital. Vet techs jobs are far from boring. Vet Techs are in demand.
Veterinary technicians are, essentially, veterinary nurses, and are graduates of two or four year college-level programs and are legally qualified to assist veterinarians in many medical procedures.
