Holiday calendar in Sweden
Swedes traditionally celebrate their main holidays not on the Day but on the Eve of the holiday (Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Midsummer Eve). The day before an official holiday is in most cases treated as a de facto holiday, so most employees working regular office hours do not work these days.
