Night of Redemption

Night of Redemption is held on January 23. This event in the third decade of the month January is annual.
Two weeks before the start of Ramadan, Muslims commemorate the Night of Redemption (Baraat), when, according to tradition, God showers those praying with blessings.
In Arabic, baraat means "non-attachment", "complete separation", "purification".
On the night of Baraat, Muslims usually keep vigil, read the Koran and pray.
