World Naturist Day is an international day of action dedicated to naturism and nudism. It is traditionally held on the first Sunday of June in the northern hemisphere and on the first Sunday of December in the southern hemisphere.
The idea of this day belongs to the International Naturist Federation, which established it in 2006. It aims to raise awareness of the rights to functional nudity in nature and to strengthen the naturist community worldwide.
What makes this day special is that it is often associated with activities such as nude hiking, gardening or other activities that celebrate the freedom and naturalness of living without clothing. It is also an opportunity to honor volunteers who work on behalf of naturism.
