On October 9, 2020 draft decrees of the President on the establishment of two professional holidays were approved at the government meeting. From now on April 27 will be celebrated annually as the Day of the Treasurer of Ukraine, and on November 28 - as the Day of the Financial Monitoring System Worker. Recall that the State Treasury of Ukraine under the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine was established on April 27, 1995.
"Given the significant role of employees of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine in the implementation of state policy in the treasury service of budget funds, accounting of budget execution, I decide to establish in Ukraine a professional holiday - Day of Treasurer of Ukraine, which will be celebrated annually on April 27," - said in the presidential decree, which was approved at the government meeting.
