Help us

As every year, since Miguel Angel Pignataro indicated it, we remember this day, January 28th, as the Argentine Railwaymen's Day or "Día del ferroaficionado".
On January 28, 1857, the locomotive "La Porteña" left the workshop by its own means (in its first test) and was seen by the common public, who not only stopped to look at the new device, but the fact (both the locomotive and the passers-by who looked at it) was recorded in the next day's newspaper.
Those passers-by, by stopping to contemplate the train, give us cause to celebrate that day for all of us who continue to stop to watch the train pass by.
