National University of Trujillo (UNT, 2018): Every December 05 is celebrated the Day of the Peruvian Statistician and is that, from 05 to 10 December 1978, was held in our city, the First Peruvian Congress of Mathematical Statistics. At the closing of this event it was agreed to institute December 5th of each year as the Peruvian Statistician's Day.
