The date was established in 2014 by the Senate of the Nation through Law No. 27,100, to honor Roberto Fontanarrosa, born on that date in 1944.
Fontanarrosa was a cartoonist, cartoonist, storyteller, novelist and writer from Rosario. He is recognized for having been one of the most beloved authors of Argentina, he wrote scripts, comics and even books.
