Each country celebrates lawyers at a national level, in Mexico Lawyer Day is celebrated on July 12, in honor of the first chair for the teaching of Law at the Royal Pontifical University of Mexico.
The history of this day in Mexico originates in the year 1960, when at the request of the newspaper "Diario de México", the President of the Republic Adolfo López Mateos, declared the "Day of the Lawyer" as an official date in the country.
