Mentor's Day in Argentina

Mentor's Day is commemorated every September 19 in Argentina, one of the key members of the country's educational body. Although there is no special reason for choosing this date, September in Argentina is the month of education. For this reason, tribute is paid to the different actors involved in education, such as teachers, professors, teaching assistants and mentors.

On this special day, the aim is to raise awareness of the different disciplines they employ in and out of the classroom, which require pedagogical and administrative tasks. The figure of a mentor is important because he/she instructs and accompanies the students. Also, in many cases they can apply sanctions when necessary.
