Estimator's Day in Ukraine

An estimate is a calculation of all types of costs (financial, material, and time) before performing certain works. Estimates are primarily related to construction and repair work, landscaping, and restoration work.

Someone might say that this is an inconspicuous job, and we can agree with that. Indeed, an estimator is not very visible at work, and any project manager will tell you how important he or she is. A true estimator is worth its weight in gold, because the material component of any project depends on his or her calculations.

The date of the unofficial professional holiday was timed to coincide with the end of April, because in 2000, it was on this day that new state elementary cost estimating standards were signed, according to which modern calculations are made. These norms are a collection of more than fifty collections on various types of work and are used as a basis for performing estimate work.
