Psychopedagogues are a fundamental piece in any educational context, although they fulfill diverse functions, one of the most important is working with children with Special Educational Needs. The psychopedagogist's objective is to accompany each child in his or her process of adaptation to the school context and help him or her to develop fully in this environment. For this reason, it is also important for the professional to sensitize the educational community (students, parents and teachers) in relation to the different disorders and pathologies that may accompany the students.
The origin of the date of this day is found in the memory of one of the professionals who has taught psychopedagogy the most and who died in 1980, Jean Piaget. His contribution was very varied and important in this branch.
In the schools where psychopedagogues perform their functions, as well as in special education centers for disabled children, activities are usually developed for children such as small theaters, exhibitions of drawings made by them, clay or plasticine workshops, etc.
