It could be said that there are as many drawing techniques as there are cartoonists. These artists dedicate themselves to express their talent and creativity to offer us a reflection of their interpretation of reality or fiction. Their professional work is recognized today, November 10, by the establishment of the National Day of the Cartoonist in Argentina.
Alberto Breccia was born on April 15, 1919 in Uruguay and developed his entire career in Argentina. He is considered one of the best cartoonists in the world, an undisputed artist who left a universal mark in the history of comics and in the worlds inhabited by his characters.
Master, cartoonist, illustrator, artist committed to his time, born experimenter, Breccia created a unique and personal style that broke the mold and forever transformed the language of Argentine and world comics.
