Recycling can make one person's trash another person's treasure! One metric ton of electronic scrap from personal computers contains more gold than that recovered from 17 tons of gold ore.
As a reminder, November 15 is America Recycles Day in the United States. On America Recycles Day 2019, the Environmental Protection Agency recognized the importance and impact of recycling, which has contributed to America's prosperity and protection of the environment. The event subsequently spread and now exists as World Recycling Day, or World Trash Sorting Day. March 18 is general Global Recycling Day, and June 17 is World Trashman Day.
