Dystonia is the generic name for a group of neurological diseases and their symptoms. The symptoms consist of sustained contractions of muscles in one or more parts of the body, often resulting in twisting or twisting of the affected parts. It also sometimes manifests itself with tremor, sometimes similar to that observed in elderly people.
Last November 15th we celebrated the European Dystonia Day. The ALDA Association together with the Associations federated to the European Dystonia Federation (European Dystonia Federation) celebrated together in all the cities of Europe this day, carrying out activities of divulgation and information about this disease.
The European Dystonia Day aims to raise awareness in society, raise funds for scientific research and provide information and support to patients and their families.
