This December 14th we celebrate the Fishery Engineer Day (Dia do Engenheiro de Pesca), this honor was guaranteed in the Brazilian civic calendar by the president Dilma Rousseff, when she sanctioned the law nº 12.820 in the Diário Oficial da União. The National Day of the Fishing Engineer is traditionally celebrated in Brazil on this date, for having been the graduation of the first class of fishing engineers in Brazil in Pernambuco in 1974.
