In 2017 marks the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the "El Salvador Pediatrics Association", so on the eve of such a laudable anniversary, it is important to recognize the work that pediatricians do for the benefit of our children and adolescents, declaring on March eleventh of each year as "Day of the Salvadoran Pediatrician" (Legislative Assembly of the Republic of El Salvador, DECREE No. 612).
