On June 2nd, 2016, the first-ever World Eating Disorders Action Day took place to unite members of the eating disorder community from around the world, including professionals, advocates, policy makers, researchers, and individuals and families impacted by eating disorders. This year we are putting a spotlight on those who care for people affected by eating disorders.
International day of fight against anorexia (November 16) is known also as as "Day without diets". The first International day without diet was celebrated in Great Britain in 1992. Feministic groups in other countries began to celebrate the day of fight against anorexia, especially in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Israel, Denmark and Brazil worldwide.
