Today’s Angolan youth’s experiences of life are shaped both by conflict and new hopes. When it comes to youngsters, Angola has a lot. In fact, nearly 70% of the Angolan population is under 24 years old. 40% of the Angolan population lives below the poverty line. This problem create large disparities between Angolans. Angolan youth have adopted a series of flexible and creative survival strategies across a broad spectrum of extremes. If appropriate investments are made and spaces to participate are created, youth can be leaders in the reconstruction and development of the country.
