Székely Freedom Day in Romania
Székely Freedom Day in Romania is held on March 10. This event in the first decade of the month March is annual.
Today's Székely Land roughly corresponds to the Romanian counties of Harghita, Covasna, and central and eastern Mureș where they currently make up roughly 80% of the population.
The holiday was created according to a decision of the Szekler National Council on 6 January 2012.
