Celebration of Teachers' Day is an official day off at schools of Singapore. Celebrations are organised the day before, and students get a half-day off to participate in events. They put on performances to entertain teachers and express their gratitude towards them.
Teachers’ Day is the day for the appreciation of teachers that include celebrations to honour their special contribution to the life of children. Teachers’ day in Singapore is observed on the last Friday of Term 3.
