The Essen Light Festival is one of the top 10 light art festivals in Europe. During the festival, we invite you to take a magical evening stroll along spectacular light shows, video mappings and light installations at nightfall. The best part? Admission is completely free!
In previous years, the Essen Light Festival has thrilled visitors with light installations and video mapping along a 1.8-kilometer route. Spectators have been able to admire the light art of more than 25 international artists at 14 different locations in Essen's city center. It is a truly magical experience!
