The Karlsfeld Settlers' Festival is a popular family festival organized by the Karlsfeld-Nord Settlers' Association. The festival lasts 10 days and takes place at the beginning of July.
History and tradition: The Settlers' Festival has been taking place since 1957 and has developed into a regionally renowned event. It is held at the beautifully situated Karlsfeld bathing lake and recreation area. And there is also plenty of fun to be had away from the marquee at the Karlsfeld Settlers' Festival: around 40 market traders and showmen provide variety and diversity on the festival site.
Originally known as the "Settlers' and Lake Festival", it has since been renamed the "Settlers' Festival", as it was called in previous years, in response to many suggestions.
