The World Day Against the Indiscriminate Use of Agrochemicals is commemorated on November 26th. This date was established by the 400 member organizations of PAN (Pesticide Action Network) in 60 countries, to remember the thousands of people who died and were left with sequelae in India in 1984 after the leakage of bophal, a chemical used in the manufacture of a pesticide.
