Chemistry Day is a celebration created by the different organizations and sectorial and professional associations of the chemical sector in Spain, with the aim of promoting the dissemination of chemical science and its industry. Today, November 15 is Saint Albert, patron saint of chemists and therefore we remember the declaration of chemistry, sponsored by Nobel laureate Jean Marie Lehn.
The history of Man and his development have been intrinsically linked to the progress of scientific and technological knowledge. Science has been the tool that has allowed man to achieve, over time, greater hope and quality of life.
Among all the sciences, chemistry, with the fundamental and necessary support of physics, biology and other areas of knowledge, has been the one that has contributed most to providing answers to human needs.
