At the moment it is not clear when this group of people began to be celebrated in the country. However, every year during this day different institutions talk about the importance of literature and the specialists in it.
In Mexico, Literary Day is celebrated on September 29 because on this date the writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was born in 1547. This man was the author of Don Quixote de la Mancha, the first modern novel in Spanish and part of the canon of universal literature due to its cultural, historical and artistic value.
