The National Nutrition Day is an initiative of the Spanish Federation of Nutrition, Food and Dietetics Societies (FESNAD) and has the collaboration of the Spanish Agency for Consumer Affairs, Food Safety and Nutrition (AECOSAN) and, as always, with the support of the pharmaceutical and food industry. As on other occasions, we will also have the collaboration of the General Council of Official Associations of Pharmacists (CGCOF).
The FESNAD (Spanish Federation of Nutrition, Food and Dietetics Societies) wants to inform the population on how they can interpret the nutritional labeling of food products in order to make a better food selection, in order to carry out a healthy diet, fulfilling its three requirements (varied, moderate and balanced). In addition, the public will be offered didactic resources to understand the labels in an easy and simple way.
