Uniting actions of the various social sectors in favor of the prevention and reduction of automobile and traffic accidents, framed in a commemorative date, is the objective with which the Legislative Plenary declared, with 49 votes, that on June 10 of each year be the National Road Safety and Culture Day.
This initiative was analyzed in the Committee on Culture and Education and is aimed at carrying out the necessary actions to establish a road culture that promotes respect for pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and drivers, which will help save lives.
