Administrators and managers Day in Brazil

The Administrator is the professional capable of systematizing practices to manage an institution. He is responsible for planning strategies, monitoring the performance of activities, managing the human, material and financial resources of an institution. It is also the professional's role to develop market strategies at a competitive level.

In the middle of the 17th century, it is possible to see the presence of professionals who exercise the role of administrator as managers of English shipping companies. On Brazilian soil, the first undergraduate course in Administration began to be offered in 1941, in the state of São Paulo. In 2010, according to the Federal Administration Council, the course was already offered by more than 1,800 higher education institutions.

Thanks to the Law that was enacted on September 9th, every year the Administrator's Day is celebrated on this date, according to CFA Resolution No. 65/68 of December 9, 1968. In addition to a degree in Business Administration, it is possible to become degree in Administration or Public Administration, there are also specialization courses such as the MBA in Marketing, People Management, Public Management and others.
