National Peace Day is a national holiday in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) on November 15th each year. This holiday is intended to promote peace and reconciliation in the country. Established by decree on 7 March 1996, the Ivory Coast celebrates the National Day of Peace on 15 November.
National Peace Day is observed with speeches, parades, and other events all over the Ivory Coast. It's also a day on which people are encouraged to think about the things that unite them as citizens instead of focusing on the things that divide them.
