Bergsträßer Weinfrühling
Bergsträßer Weinfrühling is held on April 25. Begins on the Saturday of the third full week in April. This event in the third decade of the month April is annual.
The first "Bergsträßer Winzerfest" took place in 1929. The "Bergsträßer Winzerfest" is the largest wine festival in southern Hesse. Around one hundred thousand visitors of all ages attend the wine festival every year.
The "Bergsträßer Weinfrühling" series of events marks the start of the wine season and the wines of the latest vintage can be tasted at various festivities in the region. The wineries not only want to spoil their guests with their wines, but are also sure to reveal a few things about their winemaking skills and one or two cellar secrets.
Wine trends and tendencies can be discovered during the wine tasting. The Weintreff offers the unique opportunity to taste almost 200 Bergstrasse wines, sparkling wines and sparkling wines from 20 wineries in one place. Almost all Bergstrasse wineries are represented and offer their specialties. Everyone can choose and taste their own favorite wines.
