Ohio Public Safety Employee Day

The Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act of 2007, introduced in the 110th Congress,(H.R. 980, S. 2123) proposed to establish minimum standards for state collective bargaining laws for public safety officers.

The eleventh day of September shall be designated as "Ohio Public Safety Employee Day," in honor of the men and women who selflessly place their own lives in danger to protect the lives and property of the people of Ohio.
