Remembrance Day or Righteous Wrath Day has been celebrated in Cambodia since 1984. Day in memory of the victims of the genocide, which was carried out by the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979. Beginning of massacres in Democratic Kampuchea - May 20, 1976. It was also the date that the Khmer Rouge began forced collectivization in southern Takeo in 1973.
