The traditional Vilshofen folk festival is one of the major annual events in Vilshofen an der Donau. It has been held on the racecourse grounds since 2019 and offers numerous highlights. One of the highlights is the colorful parade on Sunday, where bands, marching bands and clubs attract onlookers to the parade route. In the beautifully decorated marquee of the Wolferstetter brewery, there is palatable folk festival beer and a varied program of music and entertainment.
In addition, the rustic Q-Stall with its "Almschmankerln" and the wheat beer tent provide unforgettable experiences.
The grand finale is a huge firework display directly above the festival site.
