The Autumn Fair in Viersen is a popular folk festival that takes place every year in the fall. The Autumn Fair begins on the Saturday before the 1st Sunday in October and lasts until the following Tuesday. If the Day of German Unity falls on a Thursday or Friday, the fair begins on that day and ends on Monday or Tuesday.
Venue: The funfair takes place around Hermann-Hülser-Platz in Viersen.
Attractions: There are numerous rides, stalls and attractions for young and old at the Autumn Fair. Bumper cars, Ferris wheel, chain carousel, duck fishing, ball throwing and shooting galleries are just some of the attractions on offer.
Stage program: In addition to the rides, there is a varied stage program with music and entertainment.
Festival of Honor: The autumn fair is held in honor of the town's patron saint and transforms the Hochstraße pedestrian zone and Lindenplatz into a promenade with market stalls.
