The Görlitz Old Town Festival and the Jakuby Festival in Zgorzelec are two cheerful events that extend across the Neisse and bring the European City of Görlitz-Zgorzelec to life. The roots of the Old Town Festival go back to the Upper Lusatian Festival Week of 1927, when the townspeople wanted to cultivate their traditions and strengthen their identification with the town.
Musical highlights, historical stages, fairground rides and a large pirate ship provide entertainment.
The Jakuby Festival is a cheerful reunion across the Neisse.
The event offers a varied program with artists, traders, restaurateurs and jugglers.
In the unique ambience of the historic old town and at the beautiful Bulwar Grecki on the banks of the Neisse, different program areas are created.
Look forward to music, dancing, entertainment and a cheerful get-together during these special events!
