The Annakirmes in Düren is a popular funfair that takes place every year. Location: The Annakirmesplatz on Aachener Straße in Düren is transformed into a colorful funfair world for nine days.
Visitors: Known far beyond the borders of Düren, the Annakirmes attracts almost 1 million visitors every year.
Offer: Around 160 showmen and traders offer a variety of rides, games, raffles and more.
Traditions: On the opening Saturday, the world championship in cherry pit spitting takes place, where the current world record is an incredible 22.52 meters. There is also a family day with discounted prices and a spectacular brilliant fireworks display.
