The Gut Sandbeck Open Air is a two-day rock and blues festival that takes place in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. A total of 10 hand-picked bands are at the start, accompanied by an attractive supporting program, of course again with the indispensable Harley show, raffle and auction and much more.
In late summer 2013, it was just an idea that Rudi and Georg talked about. Rudi, a singer and songwriter from Osterholz, dreamed of an open-air festival in the center of this small town with many musicians from the district, and Georg was immediately hooked.
It is impressive to see how an initial idea has developed into a successful and charitable event. The cooperation of the team, the logistical challenges and the support of the local music scene are truly commendable. The fact that the festival attracted so many visitors despite competing events in Vegesack and Lilienthal speaks for the quality of the music and the passion of the organizers.
