There is also the Vegesack weekly market, which was founded in 1840 and is one of the oldest markets in Bremen. It still attracts citizens from the north of Bremen and the surrounding area. A diverse selection of fruit, vegetables, cheese, fish, meat, spices, baked goods, flowers and more are offered three times a week on Sedanplatz, directly adjacent to Vegesack's pedestrian zone. Some of the products come directly from the producers.
In short, the Vegesack market and the Vegesack weekly market are popular events that offer a wide range of products and entertainment.
