The Thuringian Castle Days are a special event that takes place at Whitsun and celebrates the rich history and magnificent castles of Thuringia.
History: The event shows how components of past eras have been preserved as a sign of age and continuity. For example, keeps from the previous castles in Weimar have been retained and integrated into the palace ensemble.
