Schillerplatz becomes a meeting place for wine lovers. Accompanied by music, winegrowers from the region and Wetzlar's twin towns pour out their fine wines. The liquid offering is perfectly complemented by tarte flambée, snacks and cheese. The festival has been held annually since 1994.
In addition to liquid gifts from the vine, there are all kinds of culinary and musical delicacies to enjoy at the Summer Night Wine Festival. Meeting points for wine lovers are Schillerplatz, Nauborner Straße and the monastery garden.
