On the fourth weekend in July, Neuwied is all about France: with over 60 market traders, street musicians and one of the most popular leisure sports, boules, visitors are whisked away to the neighboring country. French delicacies such as cheese, wine, pastries and sausages can be found at the market stalls as well as selected arts and crafts. Vive la France - this weekend you can feel like "God in France" in the dyke town.
