The ecumenical diversity of all churches in Hamburg organizes a Night of the Churches every year (Nacht der Kirchen Hamburg or NDKH). Encounters, inspiration and sublime moments. The NDKH is one of the largest cultural events in the city - on average, more than 70,000 visitors come to the Night of the Churches in Hamburg.
Musically, the events range from gospel and rap to pop and rock to classical concerts and electro beats with laser shows. Further entertainment is provided by cabaret, literature and theater. Guided tours of the city and churches are also on offer and those looking for talks, discussions, communal prayers and spirituality will of course also find what they are looking for.
