The World Children's Festival (Weltkinderfest) is celebrated by KinderKinder e.V. in Hamburg on the occasion of the United Nations World Children's Day, which draws attention to the rights of children. Children's rights are enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was adopted by the United Nations more than thirty years ago. The program is varied and invites you to get creative, try out sports, learn something or discover the stage program.
The first KinderFest took place from September 6 to 27, 1987 in Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen. Anniversary festival 2006, 20 years. Becomes the World Children's Festival in the ramparts of Planten un Blomen.
