Cousins are such fun family members who are always ready to come to each other's aid in a time of need. When the whole family gathers at grandparents and uncles and aunts' house, there is no limit to the fun with cousins. Cousins who belong to the same generation are called first, second or even third cousins.
When exactly Cousins Day appeared on our modern calendar is a mystery. According to some reports, the day was established in 1998 in the United States as a way to recognize and honor the unique relationship between cousins. For example, some Latin American countries celebrate Cousin's Day on June 9.
It's a great opportunity to get together with your distant cousins and show them how much they mean to you!
