Regardless of the date chosen, it is an opportunity to highlight the contribution that those of us professionals who are trained to manage our natural resources make to society. Not only the forests in their productive aspect, but also their protection, conservation, sustainable use, development of research and awareness of their ecological value, not forgetting the contribution that this profession makes to the urban environment, through the management of urban trees and green spaces, among many other tasks that it undertakes competently and responsibly.
