Lung cancer occurs when cell reproduction begins to go out of control, causing a tumor that can migrate and move to other parts of the body. National Lung Cancer Day was established by decree published in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF - el Diario Oficial de la Federación) on January 26, 2018.
According to the description of the Mexican Institute of Social Security, lung cancer occurs when the reproduction of cells begins to go out of control, causing a tumor that can migrate and move to other parts of the body.
