Melitopol city, southeastern Ukraine, on the Molochna River is a city and municipality in Zaporizhzhia Oblast region of southeastern Ukraine. Established: 1784. Melitopol is the second largest city in the oblast after Zaporizhzhia. It serves as the administrative center of Melitopol Raion.
