Ñelebrating the liberation from Nazi German troops of the territory of current Ukraine.
World War II brought with it so many tragedies, treachery and ruined lives that to this day all mankind recalls with sorrow and bitterness those distant events that touched virtually everyone on our common earth. There is a judgment of history. Already almost thoroughly investigated all the scales of this devastating war. Its causes, its consequences. The victory. It was a victory with tears in its eyes. It was tears of joy and tears of sorrow at the same time. It cannot be described in simple words. Complex formulations won't do either. It is impossible to express what our fathers and grandfathers experienced, in front of whose eyes all the horror of one of the bloodiest wars on our planet took place. It is impossible to express, but we also have no right to forget what those who lived through it and took part in it told us. Otherwise it could happen again.
Ukraine's Liberation Day from the Nazi invaders was then inscribed in the national calendar of modern Ukraine. According to WebPlus.info, this was also reflected in the Decree of the President of independent Ukraine No. 836 of October 20, 2009.
