International Forgiveness Day dedicated to evoking the healing power of forgiveness worldwide. International Day of Forgiveness was initiated by the World Forgiveness Alliance, a non-denominational educational foundation.
The Day to forgive and be forgiven! Looking into the word “Forgiveness” the free encyclopedia defines it as the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitude regarding an offense, and lets go of negative emotions such as vengefulness, with an increased ability to wish the offender well.
There are several days of the year and a few Seasons which are dedicated to forgiveness. If you dig deeply, you will discover that there are a number of other "Forgiveness" days, created by primarily religious organizations, or organized groups promoting the concept of forgiveness. These holidays are world or international events.
